There's a bit of a story behind this one, guys. I started this project over a year ago, and I was determined to get it looking PERFECT. Well, as we all know, in art there is no such thing as "perfect", there is only "satisfied". But even knowing that, I went into this project with the intention to make it the best digital painting I've ever done. What happened was obsessing over details, tweaking this, tweaking that, getting fed up and setting the piece aside. Then I'd get a commission. Then I'd take a break from the piece. This cycle continued for a year before I finally said, "I must finish this painting!" And it took me three days to finally sit down and do it, but I did.
So here's the finished piece, and though I know it's far from perfect, it IS satisfactory (to me). I present to you Anwen, who is a character I've been RPing with for years.
Constructive feedback welcomed! Redlining is okay, too! I definitely want to keep improving, so anyone who has anything helpful to say, please do!

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactHello there! ^_^
Good Points:
- I like the silver parts in her hair! It makes it look like she's aging or something. Or maybe it represents you as an artist aging from experience. (Yeah, I'm looking too deep into this.)
- Ooh! I like the teal lace you added as her clothing. It looks so realistic, pretty similar to real lace. Hmm, I wonder if I could get one myself. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="

- First off, there is some weird about the nose. I feel that the other nostrils should be shown as the lines between the nose and the mouth seem to lead to the nostrils. One of the lines should be connected to other nostril but it's not.
- The eyes are uneven as one of them doesn't have two highlights like the other. Also, the hair seems to be a bit unrealistic as there seem to be too many curls. :/
